Graves County man faces animal cruelty charges for the second time in five months

A Graves County man is going through animal cruelty expenses for the second time in 5 months, in accordance with the Graves County Sheriff’s Workplace.
Deputies had been referred to as to a house on State Route 1124 close to the Calloway County line after a neighbor filed a grievance about what was described as a pack of canine coming onto their property. The grievance acknowledged that the canine acted aggressively towards some youngsters and that they believed the canine belonged to some that had been arrested on animal cruelty expenses in October.
In keeping with the report, when the deputies arrived on the property, round 10 allegedly aggressive and malnourished canine approached them. They stated nobody would reply the door, so that they sought and obtained a courtroom order to take the canine inside and outdoors the house.
Deputies positioned Charles A. Rodgers allegedly hiding inside the house after chatting with him by telephone. Rodgers reportedly advised them he was not house. Investigators additionally reportedly discovered canine stays in a burn barrel on the property. They stated Rodgers advised them the canine had died of Parvo.
Animal management officers from Graves and Calloway County spent a part of the day Monday rounding up the canine on the property to take to the Graves County Animal Shelter.

Deputies arrested 59-year-old Charles A. Rodgers and charged him with 12 extra counts of animal cruelty and for violating bond situations.
