Burning restrictions in place across Kentucky
FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Burning restrictions are in place throughout Kentucky with the start of fall wildfire hazard season, officers stated.
Out of doors burning is prohibited between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. if the hearth is inside 150 toes of any woodland, brushland or subject with flammable supplies, a press release from the Kentucky Vitality and Setting Cupboard stated.
“With areas of the Commonwealth recovering from flooding harm, it’s particularly vital that each one Kentuckians be vigilant with fireplace security when open air,” Gov. Andy Beshear stated within the assertion.
The restriction stays in impact by means of Dec. 15.
