Building collapses in downtown Clinton

A building that was being taken down collapsed Tuesday afternoon in Clinton.
According to KYTN, the building, on Clay Street near the Hickman County Court House, collapsed as an older part of the hardware store structure was being taken down.
One person was reportedly taken from the scene in an ambulance.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said that Clay Street was closed at the Jefferson Street intersection, but reopened Tuesday evening.
