3 being inducted into Kentucky Teacher Hall of Fame
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — Three Kentucky lecturers will likely be inducted into the Gov. Louie B. Nunn Kentucky Instructor Corridor of Fame this fall. The inductees are Katy Cecil, Addie Henry and the late Wilma Tempo.
Cecil is an English and public talking instructor at LaRue County Excessive College and has taught in LaRue County for greater than 20 years.
Henry retired from Breathitt County Excessive College in 1996 after instructing English for 28 years.
Tempo taught enterprise, English and French throughout her 29-year profession at South Marshall Excessive College and South Marshall Center, the place she retired in 1980.
The inductees have been chosen by a statewide choice committee. They are going to be inducted Nov. 4 at Western Kentucky College.
The Corridor of Fame was created in 2000 by way of a present from Nunn, the late former governor, to acknowledge the influence of lecturers and schooling in Kentucky. Western Kentucky, which has educated lecturers for greater than 100 years, is the house of the Corridor of Fame, the varsity mentioned.
