Georgia man killed in forklift accident after gun safe falls on him
MACON, Ga. — A Georgia man was killed Thursday when he turned pinned between the forklift he was driving and a gun protected he was transporting, authorities stated.

David Butler, 55, of Macon, died on the Tractor Provide Firm distribution heart west of Interstate 75 close to Macon, The Macon Telegraph reported. Butler was pronounced lifeless on the scene after co-workers discovered him at round 9:30 a.m. EDT.
Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones instructed the newspaper that Butler was trapped between a gun protected and forklift.
“The gentleman was transferring the gun protected with the forklift, bought off the forklift, regarded like he was attempting to regulate the protected. It fell and pinned him,” Jones stated, based on WSB-TV.
Representatives for Tractor Provide stated the corporate, which operates retail shops that promote merchandise to leisure farmers and ranchers, pet homeowners, and landowners, stated they had been “deeply saddened” and was “totally cooperating with native authorities.”
“We’re deeply saddened by this tragic state of affairs and our hearts exit to the deceased workforce member, their households, family members and different workforce members,” the representatives stated in an announcement to WXGA-TV. “The security and safety of our workforce members is the highest precedence for Tractor Provide. The Occupational Security and Well being Administration is investigating the incident, WMAZ-TV reported.
