Georgia House passes unpermitted events bill, will head to Gov. Kemp’s desk
ATLANTA, Ga. (WTOC) – The Georgia House has passed SB 443, or the unpermitted events bill.
The bill had already passed through the Georgia Senate and will now head to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp’s desk. The bill does not take effect until Gov. Kemp signs it.
The bill would allow municipalities to hold promoters of unpermitted events financially accountable for any damage done and any extra costs incurred by public services.
