No. 18 Florida State Upsets North Carolina In Thriller To Advance To ACC Semifinals

Cary, N.C. – The No. 18 Florida State males’s tennis crew (19-7, 8-4) defeated No. 14 North Carolina 4-2 within the quarterfinals of ACC Championships on Friday afternoon at Cary Tennis Park. 

After falling to the Tar Heels 4-1 on April 14^th, the Seminoles rebounded to advance to the ACC Semifinal for the primary time since 2018.

Florida State secured the doubles level 1-0 lead after successful on court docket No. 1 and court docket No. 3.  

Enjoying at No. 1 doubles, Antoine Cornut-Chauvinc and Joshua Dous-Karpenschif cruised to a 6-1 win in opposition to the No. 13 ranked doubles pair within the nation, marking their tenth win within the final 11 outings.
