Florida principal brought loaded guns into school: report

A field of loaded weapons have been discovered at a Parkland, Florida faculty Thursday, a number of miles away from the location of the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas mass taking pictures, experiences stated.

The weapons belonged to Somerset Academy Principal Geyler Castro, officers on the constitution faculty advised mother and father in a Friday letter, in line with WPLG-TV.

Castro introduced a closed field containing two firearms into the college; they have been discovered unattended by officers in a locked room, the station reported.

“Nobody supposed to deliver a weapon into the constructing. The field was amongst many objects introduced into the locked room from the principal’s car,” the college’s board stated, following a police investigation.

It’s a felony to hold a gun into a faculty constructing in Florida. It was unclear if prosecutors would file fees towards Castro, who had not issued an announcement, the station stated.

Somerset Academy is lower than three miles from Stoneman Douglas Excessive Faculty, the place 17 folks have been killed and 17 others have been injured by a former pupil in 2018.
