2 Florida corrections officers charged for allegedly throwing boiling water at inmates

Two correction officers in Florida have been arrested and charged for allegedly throwing scorching water from a water dispenser onto inmates, leading to burns, Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno introduced on Wednesday.

In a sequence of tweets, Marceno mentioned two corrections officers with the Lee County Sheriff’s Workplace — Casey Howell and Enzo Finamore — had been fired after accidents had been found on an inmate throughout routine checks.

Deputies notified their supervisor concerning the accidents, which result in an investigation that discovered three inmates had first and second diploma burns. 

Finamore has been charged with felony official misconduct and misdemeanor battery and Howell has acquired every of these costs along with felony battery.
