PennDOT work in Delaware County, week of Oct. 30, 2022

PennDOT will start a long-term weekday lane closure on Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Radnor Township.

It’s scheduled from Oct. 31 by July 31 from 9 a.m. to three p.m. between Barleycone Lane and Garrett Avenue for visitors indicators, curb, sidewalk and ADA ramp building.

PECO upgrades

PECO Vitality will likely be performing utility enhancements on Route 1 (Township Line Highway) in Haverford and Higher Darby townships.

It’s scheduled from Oct. 31 by Dec. 20 from 9 a.m. to three p.m. between Belfield Avenue and Harmony Avenue for retiring gasoline mains.

Work on interstates

Paving and bridge restore operations will proceed on Interstate 95 and Interstate 476 below a $73 million venture to rehabilitate pavement and restore a number of buildings.

The work schedule

• Oct. 30: single lane closure 7 p.m. to six the following morning adopted by the closure of a further lane from 9 p.m. to five the following morning on sections of southbound I-95 between the Philadelphia Worldwide Airport (Exit 12) and I-476 (Exit 7) interchanges for paving.

• Oct 31-Nov. 3: single lane closure 7 p.m. to six the following morning adopted by the closure of a further lane from 9 p.m. to five the following morning on sections of northbound and southbound I-95 between the Route 352/Route 320 (Exit 6) and Philadelphia Worldwide Airport (Exit 12) interchanges for paving and bridge joint restore.

• Nov. 4: single lane closure 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. on the fifth adopted by the closure of a further lane 9 p.m. to five a.m. n the fifth on sections of southbound I-95 between the Philadelphia Worldwide Airport (Exit 12) and Route 352/Route 320 (Exit 6) interchanges for paving and bridge joint restore.

• Nov. 4-7: A steady lane closure will likely be in place on northbound I-95 approaching I-476 and on southbound I-476 approaching I-95 for enlargement dam alternative from Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. to Nov. 7 at 5 a.m.

Crack sealing

Nighttime crack sealing operations from 8 p.m. to five a.m. Monday by Friday are schedule for:

• Route 320 (Springfield Highway): between Sproul Highway and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Marple Township.

• Route 3 (West Chester Pike): between Bishop Hole Highway and Plumsock Highway in Newtown and Edgmont townships.

• Route 1: between Baltimore Pike and the Delaware County line in Middletown, Higher Windfall, Marple, Springfield, Higher Darby, and Haverford townships.

• Route 320 (Sproul Highway): between Kennedy Highway and Radcliffe Highway in Springfield and Marple townships.

• Lawrence Highway: between Route 320 and Route 3 in Marple Township.

• Haverford Highway/County Line Highway: between Winchester Highway and Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Haverford and Radnor townships.

Extra PECO work

PennDOT stated PECO Vitality will likely be performing a gasoline predominant set up on Conestoga Highway in Radnor Township starting Nov. 9.

• Nov. 9, by Jan. 9: 9 a.m. to three p.m. between Mill Highway and Ithan Avenue. Throughout the closure, motorists will likely be directed to make use of Route 320 (Sproul Highway), Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and County Line Highway.

• Nov. 1-2, 9 a.m. to three p.m., lane closure on Bethel Highway between Smithbridge Highway and Featherbed Lane in Harmony Township for mechanical patching.

• Nov. 2-23, 9 a.m. to three p.m. , weekdays: lane closure on Bryn Mawr Avenue between Brookside Highway and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Newtown Township for pipe alternative.

Resurfacing

• Oct. 30 and Nov. 4, 6 p.m. to six a.m. on Mill Highway between Route 491 (Naamans Creek Highway) and Bethel Highway in Higher Chichester Township for milling and paving.

• Oct. 30-Nov. 4, 7 p.m. to five a.m. nightly on Sellers Avenue between Fairmont Highway and Ridley Avenue in Ridley Park and Ridley Township for milling and paving.

• Oct. 31-Nov. 4, 6 p.m. to six a.m. nightly, St. Davids Highway between Church Highway and the Route 252 (Darby Paoli Highway) interchange in Newtown and Radnor townships for base restore.

• Oct. 31-Nov. 4, 6 p.m. to six a.m. nightly, on Goshen Highway between Route 252 (Newtown Avenue Highway) and Darby Paoli Highway in Newtown and Radnor townships for base restore.

• Oct. 31-Nov. 4, 6 p.m. to six a.m. nightly, on Darby Paoli Highway between Bryn Mawr Avenue and Brooke Highway in Radnor Township for base restore.

• Oct. 31-Nov. 4, 7 p.m. to five a.m. nightly on Sharon Avenue/Clifton Avenue between Hook Highway and Springfield Highway in Aldan, Collingdale, Sharon Hill, and Darby boroughs.

• Oct. 31-Nov. 4, 6 p.m. to six a.m. nightly on Bethel Highway/Harmony Highway between the Route 322 (Conchester Freeway) interchange and the westbound Route 322 on ramp to Harmony Highway in Chester and Chester and Higher Chichester townships for milling and paving.

• Oct. 31-Nov. 4, 6 p.m. to six a.m. nightly on Larkin Highway between Route 491 (Naamens Creek Highway) and Chichester Avenue and Bethel Avenue between Route 322 (Conchester Freeway) and Dutton Avenue in Higher Chichester Township for milling and paving.

• Nov. 1-4, 6 p.m. to six a.m. on Chestnut Avenue/Waterville Highway between Route 320 (Windfall Avenue) and Brookhaven Highway in Chester and Nether Windfall Township for milling and paving.

• Nov. 2, 6 p.m. to six a.m. on the third, lane closure is scheduled on Gulph Creek Highway between King of Prussia Highway and County Line Highway in Radnor Township for milling.

• Nov. 3, 6 p.m. to six a.m. on the 4th, lane closure on Eagle Highway between Wayne Avenue and King of Prussia Highway in Radnor Township for milling.
