Delaware State Police investigating armed robbery of a New Castle PNC Bank

Police are investigating an armed theft that they are saying took place within the New Fort space Tuesday.

On June 7, 2022, at roughly 2:32 p.m., Delaware State Troopers responded to Penn Mart Buying Middle for a report of theft involving a gun.

Based on police, the suspect entered the financial institution and confronted the financial institution teller with a firearm. The suspect demanded money and the financial institution teller complied. The suspect was final seen fleeing from the crime scene on foot alongside East Basin Street.

Police have described the suspect as a male in his mid-20s with a skinny construct.
