Delaware County Taking Appointments for Electronic & Hazardous Waste Cleanup Event – Mix 94.7 KMCH

Delaware County is holding an Digital and Hazardous Waste Cleanup Day subsequent weekend.

On Saturday morning, October fifteenth, residents can carry hazardous supplies and digital objects they now not need to the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Manchester from 8 am to midday.

Delaware County Supervisor Shirley Helmrichs says they’ll settle for such electronics similar to computer systems, TVs, screens, small kitchen home equipment, stereos and printers – in addition to family hazardous waste similar to previous pesticides, oil-based paints, solvents and automotive merchandise, together with car batteries.

They are going to NOT settle for water-based latex paint nor farm or enterprise chemical compounds or waste. Giant home equipment won’t be accepted both. 

This cleanup occasion is open to all Delaware County residents, in addition to residents from Dyersville, Edgewood, Strawberry Level and Coggon. 

Appointments are required by October thirteenth at https://calendly.com/dmaswarcc/delaware-county-special-collection. Should you don’t have an appointment, you’ll have to attend till all of these with scheduled appointments have checked in or there’s a hole within the schedule.
