Delaware County has plans to interchange one in all their rural county street bridges throughout the subsequent 12 months.
County Engineer Anthony Bardgett says crews will exchange the a hundred and thirtieth Avenue Bridge, which is situated simply northeast of Dundee on the west facet of Freeway 13.
The present bridge was in-built 1970 and has a “poor” structural ranking, primarily due to the poor ranking. It’s a 30-by-29 foot precast concrete panel bridge (pictured above) and might be changed with a 40-by-30 foot concrete slab bridge (pictured beneath).
The County Board of Supervisors has authorized a contract with Taylor Development – they have been the low bidder at $340,806.
The corporate has been given a late begin date of April 1st of 2023 to work on the challenge.
Bardgett says because it’s an area street with not a lot site visitors, they’ll place advance warning indicators when the bridge closes, however there won’t be a detour.
