2 firefighters injured while battling house fire in New Castle County

PIKE CREEK, Delaware (WPVI) — Two firefighters had been taken to an space hospital after they had been injured whereas battling a two-alarm home hearth in New Fort County, Delaware.

In keeping with officers, the hearth started at about 9:45 p.m. within the 100 block of Belmont Drive in Pike Creek.

When crews arrived, heavy smoke was displaying from a two-story dwelling.

Everybody inside the house was capable of get out security, however two firefighters had been injured.
