Week 15 Madden simulation predicts Cowboys win over Bills

The Dallas Cowboys are headed to Orchard Park this week for a Sunday showdown against the Buffalo Bills in a game that feels like it has all-time classic potential. Obviously we would love to experience the Cowboys winning the game, but the thing about those kinds of games is that living through them can often be stressful. It stands to reason that Dallas will put us through the ringer a bit in that department if they are indeed going to win on Sunday given that they are underdogs for the first time in quite a while.

While Dallas is flying high and riding a five-game winning streak, the Bills have new life on the season after a huge win on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs last week. Buffalo will be looking to keep that form, so stifling them will not be easy which makes the game feel unpredictable.

In our best efforts to figure out how the game is going to go we have run a simulation through Madden 24. This is a weekly practice around here and it is always interesting to see how the video game sees things going. This week it sees Dallas in control from the jump and never letting things reach any sort of jeopardy as they won 28-3.

Please note that this simulation was run prior to Friday’s news or injury announcements.
Notable Madden statistics
  • Dak Prescott: 19/28, 191 yards, 2 TDs, 2 INTs
  • Tony Pollard: 16 carries, 116 yards, 2 TDs
  • CeeDee Lamb: 5 receptions, 47 yards, 2 TDs
  • Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence each had a sack
  • Stephon Gilmore and Jayron Kearse each had an interception

Predicting the Cowboys to win 28-3 certainly feels bold to say the least, but football is unpredictable and often surprises us in ways we never saw coming. It is not inconceivable that Dallas could blow out an opponent given that they have done so many times this season, but again the Bills will hardly make it easy on them.

For what it is worth, Madden has been all over the place this season in terms of Dallas Cowboys predictions. It has never correctly predicted a Cowboys loss, but in the times where the simulation saw Dallas win (nine) the team itself only won six of the games in question.

The last two predictions each saw Dallas go to overtime against their opponents and that certainly did not happen here. Ideally Madden is completely correct and the Cowboys can put up their feet and relax in the entire fourth quarter, but the odds of that happening do feel rather slim.
