Spectators at American Airlines Center made their frustrations felt late in the second period of Game 3 between the Stars and Golden Knights on Tuesday.

After Max Domi was assessed a 10-minute game misconduct, officials sent the teams to the locker room with 21.6 seconds left after debris was thrown onto the ice. The Stars were down 4-0 and were reeling from a disastrous start that saw Jamie Benn ejected and Jake Oettinger pulled early in the first period.

Evgenii Dadonov also left the game early with a lower body injury.

The period resumed after the break when cooler heads prevailed.

Domi was given called for misconduct when he cross-checked Vegas’ Nicolas Hague. Both players got into a fight for a brief period of time, which resulted in an unsportsmanlike conduct call for Hague. The arena’s public address announcer could be heard asking attendees to stop throwing debris onto the ice.

Dallas currently trails 4-0 heading into the third period.
