A person was fatally shot early Saturday in South Dallas, police stated.
Officers had been referred to as about 2:20 a.m. to gunfire within the 4800 block of Navy Parkway, close to Dolphin Street, the place they discovered the person.
The person, who was not named by police, was taken to a hospital and died.
No further details about the slaying was instantly obtainable.
