Man killed, 2 injured in Downtown Dallas shooting, police say

A man was killed and two others were injured after being shot in Downtown Dallas early Sunday, according to police.

The shooting happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. at Commerce Street and South Pearl Expressway. Two victims were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds. One of them, Mario Shontez Marchbanks, 22, died from his injuries. The other was in critical condition, police said.

A third victim was located at a different hospital in stable condition.
