H-E-B continues its expansion in Dallas Fort Worth with the latest announcement.
The good news continues in Dallas Fort Worth with today’s news from H-E-B that a second store in Frisco is due to break ground.
The grocery chain announced plans to break ground next month on its second store in Frisco, Texas, as it continues its rapid expansion in the Dallas Fort Worth area. The new store will be located at Highway 380 and FM 423 in Denton County and will open late in 2024.
“This new store builds on the company’s longstanding presence in the area and reinforces its commitment to serve more customers in this dynamic and growing part of Texas,” Mabrie Jackson, H-E-B’s senior director of public affairs
North Texas Expansion
H-E-B has recently focused on expansion in North Texas, with multiple property acquisitions in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Last year it opened its new H-E-B stores in Frisco and Plano. There are also stores under construction in both Allen and McKinney.
A new store in Mansfield broke ground in April, while H-E-B also recently announced significant renovations of its store in Waxahachie. The project will add over 22,000 square feet to the location, transforming it into an H-E-B Plus format.
H-E-B opened more new grocery square footage than any other grocer in 2022, and the Dallas Fort Worth Area is a significant part of this expansion strategy.
H-E-B is the largest private employer in Texas, and these news stores continue offering employment opportunities to Dallas Fort Worth residents.
