Two Dallas-area faculty elections that completed with razor-thin margins received’t have recounts in any case.
Dallas County Election officers confirmed Thursday that the deadlines had handed to request a recount in two shut races for Dallas School and Dallas ISD trustee positions.
Dr. Catalina Garcia and Lynn Davenport will face off in a runoff election for Dallas School’s District 1 seat. Election day for the runoff is June 18, with early voting scheduled from June 6-14. The winner will serve a six-year time period.
Neither Garcia nor Davenport was instantly out there for remark.
