Dallas officers take part in de-escalation training thanks to Sen. John Cornyn’s new law

Texas Sen. John Cornyn was in Dallas to reward a brand new grant that can make de-escalation coaching extra broadly obtainable.

Sen. Cornyn and Dallas leaders noticed Dallas Police Division cadets and present officers participate within the coaching Wednesday.

The senator wrote the Legislation Enforcement De-Escalation Coaching Act which was signed into regulation in December.
