According to court documents, on October 17, 2023, a person from Dallas County called authorities saying his skid steer loader was stolen overnight. Authorities used footage from the property and footage from a nearby gas station to confirm the suspect as Crowl.

Investigators interviewed Crowl, and he told them once they stole the skid steer, they dumped it in the woods near Diggins, Missouri in Webster County. Authorities were later able to recover the skid steer.

Crowl also led authorities to where the stolen bulldozer and equipment trailer were in Webster County. Crowl and the second suspect stole the equipment to try and sell them in Springfield. They failed to do so and then dumped the steer.

A warrant was issued on November 28, and Crowl was arrested near Buffalo on January 5. He is being held in the Dallas County Jail on a $25,000 bond.

The second arrest was for 33-year-old Ashley Ohrazda. Ohrazda is charged with endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs and child abuse.
