Dallas Faculty Candidate Discussion board.
The College Affiliation of Dallas Faculty (previously Dallas County Group Faculty District) will host a candidate discussion board Wednesday within the Brazos Gallery of Crockett Corridor on the Richland Campus. Lynn Davenport and Dr. Catalina Garcia, who each earned spots within the runoff, are anticipated to take part.
Garcia, a resident of Preston Hole, acquired 36% of the vote in Might’s three-person race (5,942 votes) and Davenport, a resident of Lake Highlands, acquired 32% (5,307 votes). Dallas Faculty has seven board members elected from single member districts, and District 1 consists of parts of Lake Highlands, Richardson, Lakewood, Preston Hole and North Dallas.

The runoff election might be held June 18, with early voting from June 6-14. The discussion board begins at 7 p.m. June 1. The Brazos Gallery is on the west aspect (Abrams Street aspect) of Richland’s campus.
