A 5-year-old boy was injured after a boat exploded on Lake Texoma.

He was flown 100 miles to the Parkland Burn Center in Dallas mid-afternoon on Sunday, the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety told WFAA.

A 51-year-old woman and a 25-year-old woman were also on board at the time of the explosion, which occurred after they finished fueling at Bridgeview Marina in Madill, Oklahoma, Oklahoma DPS said. After starting the boat, a spark ignited gasoline fumes, causing the blast.

The boy was burned on his arms and legs and suffered minor burns to his face but is in stable condition, Oklahoma DPS said. The two women reported no injuries.
