4 arrested after child sex-trafficking investigation in Dallas, police say

Four people were arrested in connection with the sex trafficking of a child in Dallas, police said Thursday.

Three of the suspects — Gershon Caston 38; Amber Gords, 30; and Adarius Staples, 33 — face multiple charges of compelling prostitution of a person under 18 and trafficking a child, according to police.

Caston, Staples and Lamorris Hudspeth, 47, each face one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to police..

Dallas police and the North Texas Trafficking Task Force conducted a joint investigation into the sex trafficking case.

Investigators believe the crimes occurred in June and July. Authorities did not release any additional information about the case.

It is unclear whether the suspects have attorneys, and Staples did not appear in Dallas County jail records Thursday afternoon. Caston was being held at the jail with bail set at $450,000, and Hudspeth’s bail was set at $250,000. Gords’ bail had not been set on the trafficking-related charges.
