Teen shoots, kills friend at North Austin gas station while on drugs, APD says

The Austin Police Division (APD) is investigating a lethal capturing in North Austin.

Police mentioned on Feb. 5, round 5:20 p.m., officers responded to a capturing at a Chevron fuel station at 9318 North I-35 service street southbound.

When officers arrived, Austin-Travis County EMS and officers discovered Joshua Dienno, 20, and Isaac Sandoval, 19, with gunshot wounds.

Dienno died on the scene, and Sandoval died at a neighborhood hospital hours later, police mentioned.

Investigators later decided that Sandoval was below the affect of medicine when he shot Dienno. After capturing Dienno, police say Sandoval took his personal life.
