Austin police searching for North Austin homicide suspect

A person has died after he was shot in North Austin earlier this month, says the Austin Police Division.

APD says officers responded to a name in regards to the taking pictures on the Citgo at 1600 Ohlen Street simply after 8 a.m. August 9. Once they arrived, officers discovered two victims who have been transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds.

An investigation revealed somebody had approached one of many victims behind the Citgo, then produced a firearm and shot the each of them, as they have been sitting side-by-side.
