Augusta City Administrator candidate drops out
A commissioner confirms that Robert Sivick has dropped out of consideration for the position.
At a contentious commission meeting Monday, city leaders were upset that the list of candidates was put forth by the Mayor’s Office ahead of that meeting.
The other two candidates include IT Director Tameka Allen, but Interim City Administrator Takiyah Douse’s name was not on the list of finalists.
Now a third candidate will have to be added from the pool of applicants.
