ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A broken water main left several residents without water for hours overnight in northeast Atlanta.

It happened along Lindbergh Drive in the Peachtree Hills neighborhood. A viewer called Atlanta News First Thursday around 12:15 a.m. saying their water had been shut off.

Construction workers were out working all night to make the repairs.

Lindbergh Drive NE was closed between Brookwood Drive NE and Acorn Avenue NE, but cars were able to get around the work zone. Some driveways were blocked by the repair work, causing issues for several residents.

Crews finished the repairs and reopened the road around 6:45 a.m., and water has been restored in the area.
