ATLANTA – The second annual Urban Nerd Con will take place in Atlanta Sheraton Downtown. This multicultural fan comic, gaming, cosplay, and tech event is to allow creators of African descent to show off their work. However, all are encouraged to attend!

Fans will get their hands on several tracks of programming, including panels on horror, Sci-Fi, comics, cosplay, voice acting, and more.

This year, the Urban Nerd Con will be handing out its first award posthumously to the late actress Nichelle Nichols, and it will continue to hand out this award in her name in the years to come.

Ultimately, July 21-23 will be a weekend to remember for proud nerds all over.
