State judicial watchdog panel recommending judge be removed after multiple violations

ATLANTA, Ga. — The Judicial {Qualifications} Fee (JQC) is recommending {that a} Georgia choose be eliminated.

In a 50-page opinion, a 3-judge panel of the JQC mentioned Choose Christian Coomer violated his place of belief. It agreed with the JQC on 29 of 36 moral violations.

“We’re very happy with report findings of the listening to panel,” Chuck Boring, former JQC Director informed Channel 2′s Tom Jones. “We really feel that their advice for removing, as we argued at trial, is the one applicable sanction given what he was confirmed to have executed.”

Boring questioned Coomer through the trial the place Coomer was accused of an extended checklist of moral violations.

The JQC says Coomer improperly used marketing campaign funds, he received private loans from a shopper he was representing, and he named himself and even his spouse as beneficiaries for that shopper.

Boring says the misconduct went on even earlier than Coomer was an appeals court docket choose.
