College students at Atlanta’s Midtown Excessive College have been evacuated from class Thursday morning as police investigated a bomb menace to the college.

A spokesman for the Atlanta Public Faculties has confirmed with FOX 5 that every one college students and employees on the faculty have been evacuated at round 9 a.m. after a bomb menace was known as in.

The employees and college students have been relocated to Piedmont Park. Officers say everybody on the faculty is secure presently.

Atlanta Public Faculties police and Ok-9 items from different regulation enforcement organizations carried out a search of the constructing and campus. Officers say the search turned up no units and college students and employees returned safely for early dismissal.

“The protection and safety of scholars and employees will at all times be a prime precedence for Atlanta Public Faculties,” an APS spokesman mentioned in an announcement.
