Atlanta police officer helps mom deliver baby in vehicle
ATLANTA, Ga. (CBS46) – Speak about going above and past! Over the weekend, Atlanta Police Division officers helped a neighborhood mom carry her new child into the world.
On Saturday, police noticed a mom and father speeding to the hospital. Officers tried to escort the household utilizing sirens and lights however rapidly realized the couple wasn’t going to make it.
That’s when a veteran APD lieutenant bought to the mom’s facet and guided her via labor as she delivered a wholesome child boy simply moments later.
“The household did an excellent job, particularly mother, and we’re extraordinarily comfortable for them and their new child boy. A particular thanks to our lieutenant for the help he offered in such a peaceful method. We’re happy with his work,” APD stated.
