Atlanta council member pushes to keep rap lyrics from being used as evidence
ATLANTA, Ga. (CBS46) – There’s a push from an Atlanta metropolis council member to maintain rap lyrics from getting used as proof in court docket. It’s in response to Younger Thug’s RICO costs.
Fulton County District Lawyer Fani Willis says the rapper’s lyrics implicate homicide and gang life. However now, Atlanta metropolis councilmember Antonio Lewis says he desires the state legislature to evaluate the legislation that permits prosecutors to make use of lyrics as proof.
