1 dead, 1 in custody after shooting near Georgia State University

ATLANTA, Ga. (CBS46) – Atlanta Police are investigating a lethal capturing Monday evening close to the campus of Georgia State College.

Georgia State College Police posted on Twitter that the occurred at Peachtree Road and Marietta Road. They stated there isn’t a ongoing menace to the GSU campus.

Atlanta PD tells us a male was shot and transported to the hospital the place he later died.

Officers have one particular person detained right now.
