Recruiting: Texarkana’s Ball, Jackson among recruits attending Arkansas game

Arkansas is expecting to host around 40 football prospects for the Mississippi State game on Saturday, including Texas High’s Tradarian Ball and Pleasant Grove’s Lance Jackson.

It will be the first time since the Sept. 16 game against BYU for the Razorbacks to host prospects. Arkansas has played four consecutive games away from Fayetteville.

The Razorbacks are anticipating a strong showing despite the 11 a.m. kickoff.

Here are some of the notable prospects expected to attend the game:

’25 DL Darius Curne, 6-5 and 300 pounds, of Marion

Arkansas extended Curne his first Power 5 offer. He also has offers from Georgia, Ole Miss, SMU, Liberty and others.

’24 RB Braylen Russell, 6-2 and 230 pounds, of Benton

Russell, an Arkansas commit, is a consensus 4-star prospect.

’25 QB Grayson Wilson, 6-3 and 190 pounds, of Central Arkansas Christian

The Arkansas commit is having an outstanding season.

’25 RB Amauri “Juice” Anderson, 5-9 and 178 pounds, of Milton, Ga.

Anderson is originally from Arkansas. He has received offers from Arkansas, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and South Carolina.

’24 DB Tevis Metcalf, 5-11 and 175 pounds, of Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville

The 3-star commit is the brother of Arkansas freshman safety TJ Metcalf.

’26 RB Tradarian Ball, 5-11 and 185 pounds, of Texarkana, Texas

Bell received an offer from Arkansas while attending the Hogwild Hangout.

’25 DB Jaylen Mosley, 6-1 and 190 pounds, of Jackson, Tenn.

The 4-star prospect has Ole Miss, Auburn, Tennessee and Louisville offers.

’25 DB Kohl Bradley, 6-0 and 180 pounds, of Lucedale (Miss.) Georgia County

Bradley received an offer from the Razorbacks in January.

’24 WR CJ Brown. 6-1 and 180 pounds, of Bentonville

Brown is one of the leaders of the ’24 commitments.

’24 QB KJ Jackson, 6-4 and 217 pounds of Montgomery (Ala.) St. James

The Arkansas commit had passed for 1,580 yards with 2 interceptions entering a game Thursday.

’24 OL Kobe Branham, 6-6 and 320 pounds, of Fort Smith Southside

The Razorbacks’ pledge is grading at 95.2% on the season.

’25 DL Lance Jackson, 6-5 and 250 pounds, of Texarkana (Texas) Pleasant Grove

Jackson, a 4-star prospect, has 32 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 7 quarterback pressures, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 3 pass breakups and forced an interception this season.

’24 DB Ahkhari Johnson, 5-11 and 180 pounds, of Texarkana (Texas) Pleasant Grove

Johnson, an Arkansas commit, has 1,459 passing yards for17 touchdowns, along with 479 rushing yards and 8 rushing touchdowns this season

’25 DB Marcus Wimberly 6-1 and 183 pounds, of Bauxite

Wimberly chose the Hogs over Michigan, Memphis and others.

’24 WR Ashton Bethel-Roman, 6-1 and 175 pounds, of Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point

Arkansas’ 4-star commitment chose the Razorbacks over Texas Tech, Oregon and others

’24 DB Selman Bridges, 6-3 and 170 pounds, of Temple (Texas) Lake Belton

The consensus 4-star UA pledge chose the Razorbacks over Texas, TCU and others

’25 WR Antonio Jordan, 6-5 and 210 pounds, of Warren

Jordan has received offers from Arkansas and Florida State, among others.
