Two people died in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night in rural Poinsett County, a preliminary report from Arkansas State Police states.
Tommy McMasters, 41, and Vernon Houston, 71, both of Harrisburg, died around 9:25 p.m. after the 2005 Lincoln Town Car that Houston was driving west on Arkansas 14, near Arkansas 163, left the road and crashed into the treeline, the report states.
The investigating trooper reported that the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time.
