While they weren’t always the first teamers in spring and that will probably remain the case at the start of fall camp, the three transfer wide receivers will likely end up being the top targets. The only name we’d throw in with the transfers is redshirt freshman Isaiah Sategna.

Bowling Green transfer Tyrone Broden is 6-foot-7 and he has legit speed that makes him a dangerous vertical threat on the outside. Broden caught 68 passes for 1,102 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns over the past two seasons.

A transfer from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan, Isaac TeSlaa was one of the best wide receivers on the Division II level last season. He was named the Great Midwest American Conference Offensive Player of the Year for catching 68 passes for 1,325 yards and 13 touchdowns.

As a redshirt junior for Texas A&M-Commerce, Andrew Armstrong put together one of the best seasons in program history at the wide receiver position in 2022. The Dallas native totaled 62 receptions for 1,020 yards and 13 touchdowns — all of which led the team.

Sategna redshirted in 2022 after playing just 26 snaps as a freshman. A native of Fayetteville, Sategna put together a very impressive spring that could help him be in the running for the team’s top pass catcher this season. He is a methodical route runner who can also beat you over the top and he did so with a 65-yard score in the Red-White Scrimmage on April 15.
