FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The 10th-ranked Hogs (2-0-0) made four first half goals stick to extend their unbeaten streak at Razorback Field to 24 matches.

Arkansas opened the scoring against Oregon (0-2-0) two minutes into the match thanks to forward Morgan White’s first goal as a Razorback. The Marshall transfer redirected a pass inside the box from junior Sophia Aragon to send it past the Ducks keeper Maddy Goldberg.

The Hogs doubled their lead in the 18th minute after freshman Kennedy Ball beat several Oregon defenders to get the ball to Aragon for the finish inside the six-yard box.

Arkansas’ third goal came via a miscue by Goldberg, which started with a shot from White. White was credited with the goal and recorded her second career brace.

The Hogs snuck the final goal in with 1:43 left to play in the first half. Freshmen Bella Field and Emma Johns connected inside the six-yard box for Johns’ first collegiate goal.

The Razorbacks finished the half with 10 shots and notched another 10 in the second half. The Ducks recorded six shots, with only one on target for the match.

“I thought in the second [half], we didn’t actually let up, we just didn’t score a goal,” head coach Colby Hale said. “I thought there were some really good individual performances and we’ve got to keep building on this.”

Arkansas has shut out both of its opponents to begin the 2023 season.
