Arkansas announced on Sunday that former Buckeye Kenny Guiton will take over as interim offensive coordinator after Dan Enos was relieved of his duties effective immediately by head coach Sam Pittman.

Guiton is also the Razorbacks’ wide receivers coach and is in his third season on the Arkansas staff. Under Guiton’s guidance, Razorbacks receiver Treylon Burks earned first team All-SEC honors in 2021.

Enos was let go after the Razorbacks offense managed just 200 yards of total offense on Saturday in a 7-3 loss to Mississippi State at home. Under Enos’ direction, Arkansas slotted No. 119 in total offense so far this season averaging 305.9 yards per game. The Hogs are 84th in scoring offense (26.5 ppg).

Currently 2-6 overall and 0-5 in SEC play, Pittman made the move as the Razorbacks have a bye week before heading to Gainesville to take on Florida on November 4.

Guiton started his collegiate coaching career in 2015 as a graduate assistant for Houston under Tom Herman. After two seasons in Houston, he followed Herman to Texas as an offensive quality control assistant but just for a few months as Houston brought him back as its wide receivers coach.

From there, Guiton spent 2019 as Louisiana Tech’s wide receivers coach before filling the same role at Colorado State for the 2020 season. Guiton moved to Arkansas as its wide receivers coach in 2021.
