Corn and rice harvest underway in Arkansas

Corn harvest picked up tempo this previous week. 

Soybeans are rated 64% good to glorious, with 93% is setting pods, 19% coloring, and 5% dropping leaves.  Cotton is rated 66% good to glorious with 10% of the bolls opening.  The rice crop is rated 72% rated good to glorious, 89% of the crop is headed, 15% mature, and a pair of% harvested.   Peanuts are rated 73% good to glorious.  Corn harvest is underway with 6% of the crop harvested, 90% of the crop is dented, and 60% mature.

The second slicing of hay is 84% full, and eight% of alfalfa hay 17% is rated good, an enchancment on the week. Greens are 64% good to glorious. 

Topsoil moisture was 76% satisfactory to surplus and subsoil moisture was 63% satisfactory to surplus.
