Arkansas woman killed in two-car crash in Barry County, Mo.

BARRY COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) – A woman from Arkansas has died after a two-car crash in Washburn Monday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, around 12:30 p.m., a 2020 Ford Transit was attempting to make a left turn on Missouri Highway 90.

The crash happened when a 2008 Jeep Cherokee attempted to pass the Transit and was hit. The Jeep then went off the road and overturned.

The driver of the Transit was not injured. The driver of the Jeep had moderate injuries, and the passenger, 36-year-old Kimberly Rogers of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, died from her injuries at a Springfield hospital.

This marks MSHP Troop D’s 132nd fatal crash in 2023.
