“After much consideration and talks with my loved ones,” he wrote in-part, “it is in my best interest to decommit from the University of Arkansas and reopen my recruitment.”

White added that he will still consider Arkansas in the future as he re-opens his recruitment.

White’s departure is a big loss for Arkansas’ 2024 class. He’s the No. 329 overall player and the No. 27 athlete in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 9 player from the state of Mississippi.

He attends St. Martin High School in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. White has offers from both Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

Arkansas is now down to 16 commits in the class of 2024. The group still sits at No. 24 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
