Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders is banning the time period “Latinx” from state paperwork, based on an government order she introduced Tuesday.
“Ethnically insensitive and pejorative language has no place in official authorities paperwork or authorities worker titles,” she stated.
A number of adjectives and nouns in Spanish finish in “o” and “a” to indicate female and masculine. Latinx is a time period coined by teachers and activists that replaces “Latino” and “Latina” to incorporate those that determine as non-binary.
