Zelenskyy reacts to devastating images coming out of Ukraine: ‘This is genocide’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday reacted to disturbing new photos popping out of a suburb of the capital Kyiv displaying the our bodies of executed civilians by calling Russia’s assaults “genocide.”

Brennan requested Zelenskyy whether or not he believed the world would “truly make good on this promise” to carry Russian President Vladimir Putin accountable for conflict crimes, prompting him to say that all the things “needs to be truthful and in line with justice, because the civilized world will determine.”

Zelenskyy went on to say that he would not consider it’s “truthful” to solely maintain Putin accountable and punish him, including, “I feel all the navy commanders, everybody who gave directions and orders needs to be punished adequately.” Nonetheless, he stated that the “ample punishment” for these individuals is “tough to be achieved.”

Secretary of State Antony Blinken additionally reacted Sunday to the pictures out of Bucha, Ukraine, close to Kyiv, displaying civilian males who had been reportedly executed and left on the streets, throughout an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” saying the pictures had been a “punch to the intestine.”
