Vermont game wardens investigate fatal shooting of pet dog

TUNBRIDGE, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont recreation wardens are investigating the deadly taking pictures of a pet canine in Tunbridge.

The Vermont Recreation Warden Service says the German shepherd was reported lacking by its proprietor on April 20.

Officers say the canine was discovered by its proprietor on April 23.

The warden who responded to the reported taking pictures opened an investigation, which continues to be ongoing.
