The grandfather of a toddler who got here near drowning in a pool in Vermont earlier this month has been charged with little one cruelty, police introduced Friday.
Kevin West, 46, was issued a courtroom summons on a cost of cruelty to a toddler in reference to the near-drowning of his three-year-old grandson in Newport on July 5, based on the city’s police chief, Travis Bingham.
The boy was discovered unresponsive within the pool on the residence on Sias Avenue and brought to a close-by hospital by a member of the family. Police discovered in regards to the near-drowning later within the day, Bingham stated in a press release.
