Scott to announce recipients of grants to revitalize Vermont towns

ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont Gov. Phil Scott might be in St. Albans on Tuesday to announce the winners of greater than $4 million in downtown rehabilitation cash.

In 2021, Scott made an identical announcement in St. Johnsbury, awarding funding to help 28 rehabilitation and revitalization initiatives in 22 of Vermont’s designated downtown and village facilities.

His administration says the cash will help a document variety of initiatives, designed to improve metropolis facilities.

Growth leaders say there may be fierce competitors for this funding.
