NEYT plans auditions for upcoming winter musical
BRATTLEBORO—New England Youth Theater (NEYT) says it’s “thrilled to supply a fascinating musical theater alternative” for performers aged 15–19 (14 with guardian consent). Based on a information launch, NEYT workers say they’re “nonetheless ready to safe the rights,” and subsequently will not be in a position to launch the title of the present at the moment.
What they will share is “that Rebecca Waxman can be directing, working alongside a vibrant creative workforce devoted to fostering an expertise filled with discovery, humor and problem.
“This manufacturing incorporates mature themes that query concepts of freedom, morality, prejudice, self-delusion and survival. The trailblazing e-book and rating create a world that’s meant to push towards boundaries and luxury zones of performers and audiences alike.”
Auditions for this present will happen on Jan. 23 and 24, from 3:45 to six:45 p.m., at NEYT. Rehearsals are anticipated to start Jan. 30, with no rehearsals through the week of Feb. 27 (faculty winter break).
Eight performances are deliberate Fridays via Sundays on March 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 (rain date: March 26), with a mirrored image day for all contributors on Monday, March 27.
