Musician to perform 251 times, once in every Vermont town
BURLINGTON, Vt. — A pianist who needs to lift consciousness about local weather change goes to carry out 251 instances — in each city in Vermont.
David Feurzeig, a music professor on the College of Vermont just lately gave up airline journey to scale back his carbon footprint. And he’ll be touring for his “Play Each City Vermont” concert events in an electrical car.
“There’s loads of resonance that folks have with this concept from different musicians, from audiences. Individuals actually perceive viscerally that we’re in a disaster,” he instructed Vermont Public Radio.
He mentioned the live performance applications differ from classical to jazz, and can embody his personal compositions. He mentioned he is enlisting native scholar musicians from every city and metropolis to hitch him.
